Emerging from the French Hip-Hop scene, Dj Brasco has cultivated the art of turntables since 1998. He has shared his love for good music on the French airwaves, taking part in many radio shows then finally hosting his own radio program. In 2000, after touring France, mixing Hip-Hop, Funk, and Soul, he naturally used his experience as a Dj and his training as a drummer towards beatmaking. He then joined a collective of artists: DV Corporation and produced a remarkable body of work, remixing the tracks of various artists such as MF Doom, The Roots, De La Soul, Steve Spacek, and others. The quality of his work caused critics to compare his touch to that of the legendary Dj Jazzy Jeff. Dj Brasco's sound reached the ears of critically-acclaimed French rapper: Kohndo, spurring a collaboration in the making of Kohndo's album "Deux Pieds sur Terre / Stick to Ground".
