Freedom Fighter Music presents "Shame The Devil". The underlying title line reads: "Hip Hop Tells The Truth About The Prison Industrial Complex."

THE ELLA BAKER CENTER FOR HUMAN RIGHTS funded this socio-political exercise in making a difference. All of the proceeds raised by this project go towards incarceration-alternative programs such as Books Not Bars and others in Oakland, California.

This album is a dope hip-hop compilation featuring name and new artists like: ZION I, HANIFAH WALIDAH, PROPHETS OF RAGE, STRONG FOUNDATION,

COMPANY OF PROPHETS, DUECE ECLIPSE and more. Producers like AMP LIVE, CES-ONE & YING SUN provide the sonic back drop for an album that spreads the message of freedom, truth & rights. One or two are R & B style and spoken word tracks that further testify to this, the album's central point. Interlaced between the songs on this album are social commentary from community leaders and activists such as; BETITA MARTINEZ, RORY CAYGILL, NICOLE LEE, AURORA GRAJEDA.

This album features real underground hip-hop artists doing what they do best, all within the context of music that matters. 18 tracks equals 60 minutes of music and a conscious social statement about the current state of our prison system.
