Project Skyward s music is a fusion between space-rock and electronica. Electronic sounds are blended with the emotion and energy that can only come from live instruments. Sweeping layers of atmospheric guitar, are combined with techy loops and breakbeats.

When the vocals come in, ethereal voices harmonize adding a human texture and emotion to the soundscape. Their lyrics are evocative, while remaining open to a full range of interpretations. Project Skyward have a strong vision for their sound, they hope to step beyond existing genres by blending sounds and structures from different styles, into a unique and recognizable sound.

In December of 2004 Project Skyward released their first full-length album entitled Strange Synchronicities. The LP flows smoothly and seamlessly from beginning to end, carrying the listener into deep cosmic imagery that is both thought provoking and emotional. The songs are abstract yet do not alienate the listener, vocal melodies and guitar lines get stuck in your head leaving lasting impressions. Strange Synchronicities was co-produced and mastered by Joerg Koehler of Malory.

Weeks after its release it climbed to number 2 on collage charts in both the US and Canada. Since then it placed at number 37 on the RPM national charts for three consecutive weeks. It's gained the attention of DJs and producers worldwide and offers great remix potential for the electronic dance genre. Strange Synchronicities is Project Skyward s most original work yet, displaying their intentions to create a sound which stands outside of classification, and which conjures a unique experience.
