Sonicbloom presents their second full-length completely self-produced album Paradigm Lift, on CFO Recordings. Based out of the San Francisco Bay Area, Sonicbloom is a core group of 5 artists playing the roles of mc/songwriters/singers, beat makers, musicians, and engineers. Full of 18 diverse tracks, the project is an “intentional, heart-opening, inter-dimensional soundwave seduction.” An “upfront and tasteful” representation of hip-hop music that will capture listeners not only with the dynamic range and high caliber of the beats, but also with the lyrical content and unique styles the vocalists offer.

Paradigm Lift is a musical masquerade through the fabric of daily life as we know it. From club friendly tracks such as “Firewalk”, to socially and politically riveting ballads such as “Eye of the Hurricane” and “Revolution Sound” to playful and abstract song topics like “Extra Extra” and “ IMBY”, Paradigm Lift is a well rounded soundscape crafted to appeal to lovers of lyricism and music alike. No song goes without the touch of meticulous instrumentation and beat production, which strongly supports the soulfull harmonic vocal melodies and the unique yet complimentary styles of three seasoned emcees.

Sonicbloom is the result of five diverse artists coming together to share the same platform. Combining boundary-breaking lyricism,production, live instrumentation, spoken word and complex turntablism, we create a high-energy, funky, and soulful atmosphere. Sonicbloom is a collective of progressive musicians, poets, and artists unified under the medium of sound. With a directed intention at moving minds, bodies and spirits all at once, the potent vibration behind the essence of this group carries through every note played and word spoken. We feel that it is our duty to always break the boundaries of monotony, and truly follow our souls as well as our ears in this journey through the artistry of music.

Sonicbloom is comprised of 5 core members. The Omnipotent Penman (Open Vocalist) and Spends rock the rhymes, with Spends also producing a lot of the beats. Djust-D (just-d) commanding the 1's and 2's. J.Kin on the alto saxophone, vocals, as well as producing a lot of the beats. Mr. Tay blesses us with his guitar, as well as his beat-making production skills. Combined together, these elements create a result unlike anything else in hip-hop.

This CD release, represents over 2 years of innovation and growth. "From the Get-Go" is a precursor for many more progressive projects to be released by CFO Recordings within the next year. Please join us in spreading good music to the masses, pass the word along, and always keep your ears open.
