WICKENSHIRE 

WickenShire is from Oakland, CA. They have been together a little over three years. This album is a beat driven instrumental album which includes dozens of instruments. This album sits in categories such as hiphop, electronic and indie rock. WickenShire is a two piece band that consists of Josh Hernandez, who plays guitar and does electronic manipulations, Andrew Wickens who plays keyboards, bass and sequences samples and drums. The band has been playing live now for over a year in various area's such as San Francisco, Berkeley, Sacramento and other northern California towns.

These instrumentals are open for the listener to create there own story to go along with the music. Some dramatic, some downtempo and others are oddball beats that this duo has invented. WickenShire's future plans are to continue touring and collaborating with other musicians. Carrying emotion for film and others shows or short films is also a huge goal for this duo.

WickenShire is bE collective records first artist and has been a part of the art community in the bay area for over 6 months, playing at gallerie such as Liquid Spaces and Expression Gallery. bE collective was started by Andrew Wickens and Mike Melero who bring together artists of all forms to help support one another. This collective gathers

artists who are community oriented and who deliver free of charge, random art. Anyone who is interested in participating in bE collectives events is highly encouraged and welcomed. Meeting people and having fun is the main focus rather then competition and money making. WickenShire continues to play at venues and galleries and doesn't intend to stop any time soon.
