Aesense of Time is a Seattle based ensemble with an innovative Roots & Blues sound- a blend of jazz based funk, R&B, and modern roots reggae. Analog keyboards such as the organ, Fender Rhodes, and clavinet add a vintage flavor to heavy, bass-driven grooves. Tracks such as Infinite Breath and Moments of Grace highlight Aesense of Time’s jazz roots, while urban and hip hop influences appear on Time and Soul Jah. Let Them Hear and Sacred Places present a more traditional roots reggae approach. Tracks like Hand in Hand and Message reveal the quintessential Roots & Blues sound. Aesense of Time speaks to people of all backgrounds with universal messages of love, community, and life's struggles.

AeSense of Time (AoT) was formed in 2004 by Bryan Giese-Gardner and Keith Judelman, two musicians living in the Pacific Northwest (U.S.A). Blending such elements as reggae, soul, and jazz, as well as other musical influences, a sound was developed that AoT has dubbed Roots and Blues. In addition to its obvious stylistic connotations, this descriptor stems from an intention to reconnect the subtle roots of our existence with the heavier shades of humanityís current global situation. AoT strives to bring communities together and broaden awareness through original music and positive lyrics.

AoT is currently comprised of approximately six members, although featured artists frequently join the core group in performance. Instrumentation includes drums, bass, guitar, keyboards (primarily Fender Rhodes and Clavinet for that vintage flavor), trumpet, and trombone.

Collectively, AoT has shared the stage with a number of popular acts including (but not limited to) Culture, Midnite, Rocker T, Sabbattical Ahdah, Michael White, the Dap Kings, Lyrics Born; and have performed in venues and festivals around the NW U.S. and Canada.
