Bed on Bricks is known to be one of the most original and tightest bands in South Africa. In an era where rock music is chronically lacking originality they serve as an example of true local style. The band’s sound is chunky, funky, smooth and rough, with a lot of hop and lyrics free from cliche, American accented lamentations. Add to this their phenomenal stage act and it is evident that these guys are on their way to major success.

Bed on Bricks has had a fantastic 2006. They performed at both Oppikoppi festivals, the Robertson Rocks festival and did numerous tours to Durban and Gauteng. Their magnificent set at Oppikoppi in August was a definite highlight. They electrified the audience, exuding energy and skill to the very limit of the Bushveld-night, a performance that was perfectly awesome throughout every second of their 45 minute set. Their second album "If You See Kay" was released in 2005 and continually draws rave reviews from fans and media alike. The band is now currently working on material for a new album to be released in 2007.
